A challenge
A research analyst and music aficionado, Joe loves a challenge.
Whether it's working out chord progressions while playing in his cover band, or investigating any number of fields for our clients, Joe thrives on variety.
With previous experience across the banking, digital marketing and hospitality sectors, Joe was looking for a new focus. Intrigued by a job opening for a research associate in legal consulting and competitive intelligence, he decided to switch gears.
AI opportunity
At Harbor, Joe collects, analyzes and interprets intelligence to help our clients make business critical decisions, or to win new business.
“I’ve researched wide-ranging sectors on behalf of my clients – everything from environmental concerns in Asia to an airplane company. I am motivated by new challenges – every day at Harbor is different.”
Now thanks to AI, he has more time to focus on analysis and presenting insights to clients. Joe sees huge opportunity for AI to bring efficiencies to the research field.
"Given the speed of change with AI, it’s likely that, within the next two years, I'll be able to deliver even more client work as AI gets better at finding quality sources of information, more rapidly. AI combined with our human expert insights can give companies the leg up they need in today’s fast-paced landscape.”
Focused yet flexible
Joe has made his mark at Harbor, winning the “Focused Yet Flexible” Harbor Values Award in recognition of the strong results he delivers for clients and his approach to leadership that benefits his whole team. It's earned him a trip to Harbor’s Chicago HQ to meet heads of business, gain valuable insights, and eat pizza.
A healthy work-life balance allows his career aspirations to sit alongside his family commitments, and his passion for side hustles. His daughter now accompanies him to sell merchandise at concerts, when star acts pass through town.
This music maker, who plays in a cover band with friends, loves sharing music with others.
